Basic Principles and System Composition

Basic Working Principle

Using the pressure difference of the fluid medium in the pipeline as power, the pigging device is pushed to run with the flow in the pipeline. Through the close fit of the scraper, cup, steel brush and other structures of the pigging device with the inner wall of the pipeline, the wax deposit, scale and impurities on the inner wall are scraped and washed away; for the intelligent detection pigging device, the corrosion, crack, deformation and other data of the inner wall of the pipeline can be collected through the built-in sensor module during operation, and the pigging or detection operation is completed with the fluid throughout the whole process without additional power drive.

Basic Principles and System Composition

Pre-operation Preparation: Define pipeline parameters and operation requirements, select the suitable pigging device category and specification, and inspect the performance of the pigging device's sealing, sensing and positioning components. On-site Deployment: Install the launch and receive cylinder and supporting valve group, commission the positioning and monitoring equipment, put the pigging device into the launch cylinder and seal it. Delivery and Operation: Open the pipeline valve, push the pigging device by using the medium pressure difference, and monitor the running position of the pigging device and the pipeline pressure and flow parameters in real time. Recovery and Detection: Recover the pigging device in the receive cylinder at the end of the pipeline, clean the collected impurities, and export and analyze the detection data if it is an intelligent type.
