Product Introduction

Polyamide (Nylon) is the first industrialized synthetic fiber, polymerized from petrochemical products such as caprolactam, hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid. It is wear-resistant, high-strength, elastic and lightweight, widely used in textiles, apparel, industry, automotive and other fields, and is a core category of high-performance synthetic fibers.

Types and Characteristics of Equipment

Type

Polyamide Synthetic Fiber: Mainly divided into PA6 and PA66 by raw material; divided into filament and staple fiber by form, suitable for textile and industrial scenarios, with core advantages of super wear resistance, high strength, high elasticity, lightweight and skin-friendly.

Features

Features Best wear resistance, 10 times that of cotton and 20 times that of wool, friction-resistant and long service life; High strength and lightweight, high tensile strength, density 1.14g/cm³, lighter than polyester; Excellent elasticity, good elongation recovery, resistant to repeated bending and not easy to deform; Good moisture absorption, second only to vinylon among synthetic fibers, comfortable to wear and easy to dye; Chemically resistant, alkali-resistant, oil-resistant and mold-proof, but the disadvantage is that it is not acid-resistant or sunlight-resistant.

Basic Principles and System Composition

Basic Working Principle

PA6 is obtained by ring-opening polymerization of petroleum-cracked caprolactam to form polyamide melt; PA66 is formed by polycondensation of hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid, both of which are made into fibers through melt spinning, drawing and setting.

Overall System Composition

Raw Material Unit: Caprolactam, hexamethylenediamine, adipic acid, catalyst and various additives; Polymerization Unit: Polymerization reactor and temperature control system to complete the polymerization reaction; Spinning Unit: Spinning machine and drawing machine to spin the melt into fibers; Finishing Unit: Setting machine and crimping machine to optimize fiber performance through setting, crimping and oiling; Detection and Packaging Unit: Detection instruments and automatic packaging line to complete performance detection and finished product packaging.

Basic Principles and System Composition

Raw Material Preparation: Purify various monomers, configure catalysts and additives to ensure qualified raw materials; Polymerization Reaction: Control the temperature for polymerization to prepare qualified polyamide melt; Spinning and Drawing: Spin the melt and make fibers through multi-stage drawing; Finishing and Setting: Perform heat setting, oiling and crimping on the fibers to optimize fiber performance; Detection and Packaging: Detect indicators such as fiber strength and fineness, and store qualified products for processing and application.
