Product Introduction

Casing Pipe is a core pipe material for oil drilling engineering. Basic Principles and System Composition

Basic Working Principle

After the drilling reaches the designed depth, casing pipes of different specifications are run into the wellbore section by section from large to small, and each section of casing is connected into a whole through thread connection. Then cement slurry is injected into the annular space between the casing and the well wall. After the cement slurry solidifies, a cement sheath is formed to realize the firm combination of the casing and the well wall; the high strength of the casing is used to support the well wall to prevent well wall collapse, and at the same time, through the double isolation of the casing and the cement sheath, formations with different pressures and properties are separated to avoid formation fluid channeling, providing a safe and stable channel for subsequent oil and gas exploitation.

Casing Main Body Unit: The core bearing and isolation component, including basic structures such as casing bodies of different steel grades and calibers, and casing joints (threaded joints, welded joints). Connection and Sealing Unit: Including thread sealant, sealing ring and coupling, realizing sealed connection between casings and preventing fluid channeling. Cement Sheath Unit: Including oil well special cement slurry and cement additives, filling the gap between the casing and the well wall to realize formation isolation and casing fixation. Basic Principles and System Composition

Pre-operation Preparation: Determine the well type, well depth and formation working conditions, select casing with suitable steel grade and caliber, and inspect the quality and performance of the casing body, threads and joints. On-site Preparation: Clean impurities on the casing surface, apply thread sealant, assemble casing joints and couplings, and commission casing running tools and centralizing equipment. Casing Running: Run the casing section by section according to the designed sequence, fasten each section of casing through thread connection, use centralizers to ensure the casing is centered, and monitor the running resistance in real time. Cementing Operation: Inject cement slurry into the annular space between the casing and the well wall, monitor the cement slurry injection volume and pressure, and ensure the cement slurry is fully filled and well solidified. Post-operation Detection: After the cement slurry solidifies, detect the casing sealing performance and cement sheath quality, evaluate the wellbore integrity, and enter the subsequent drilling or production process after passing the test.
