Heat Exchanger

High-efficiency heat exchange tube bundle Floating head thermal compensation structure Anti-corrosion and anti-erosion design Enhanced heat transfer and anti-fouling technology

Hot and cold media enter the tube side and shell side respectively. Heat exchange occurs through counter-current flow of the media. The hot fluid releases heat and cools down, while the cold fluid absorbs heat and heats up. The two media are discharged separately to realize continuous heat exchange.

Product Introduction

Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger

Shell and tube heat exchangers are the most widely used heat transfer equipment in petroleum refining, chemical plants and oil & gas processing. They consist of a cylindrical shell, a bundle of tubes inside, tube sheets, baffles and channels. One fluid flows inside the tubes while the other passes through the shell side around the tubes, enabling efficient heat exchange without mixing.
With advantages of high pressure resistance, good thermal efficiency, strong adaptability and easy maintenance, they are widely applied in heating, cooling, condensation and evaporation processes. In refineries, they are used in crude preheating, product cooling, heat recovery and energy saving systems, effectively improving unit energy efficiency and ensuring stable operation of process units.

Types and Characteristics of Equipment

Type

Type: Fixed tube-sheet, floating-head and U-tube heat exchangers (main equipment for refinery export)

Features

Resistant to high pressure and high temperature, suitable for heat exchange of oil products, oil gas and hydrogen.Sturdy structure, reliable operation and convenient maintenance.High heat transfer efficiency and excellent energy-saving effect.Compliant with ASME and GB standards.

Basic Principles and System Composition

Basic Working Principle

One medium flows inside the tube bundle (tube side), while the other flows between the tube bundle and the shell (shell side). Heat is exchanged through the tube walls, cooling the hot fluid and heating the cold fluid.
